BIFFY Awards Ceremony: Take your seats for the BIFF event of the year and help to congratulate our award winners. Silent Film Showcase - Wings: The Beloit Janesville Symphony conducted by Music Director Rob Tomaro will present a live performance of the Carl Davis film score, Wings, in conjunction with the Beloit International Film Festival presentation of this Academy Award winning film. Wings is a 1927 silent film about two WWI pilots experiencing friendship, hate, love and tragedy. This will be an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the film with live orchestra! BIFF 2009 Closing Party: The culmination of a great four days of fun and film are presented with this tribute to local filmmaker John Gage. A showing of his final work, The Flood of 2008, will leave us inspired with a greater understanding of the importance of film in our culture. The announcement of the People’s Choice Film award will be made, as well as the unveiling of the BIFF 2010 Image and dates.Click Here.
